| Wheels that will fit a D3 |
|
Apart from the standard 17" (but not with RRS 235/65 17 tyres), 18" & 19" D3 wheels that are fitted in the factory, here are pics of the wheel types that will work with a D3:
FFRR 19" 7 spoke (2006 onwards) ***Not with dimples in between nut holes***
FFRR (2006 onwards) & RRS 18" (watch RRS tyres as might be under rated for weight)
RRS 19" rims, tyres will be under weight rated and wheel is 1" wider than D3 wheels
or
I've no experience on 20" wheels & beyond so will leave that to others (ronp!!!). Any other wheels that fit, please post & I'll add their pic to this first post.

And here some RR 20" that will:
This same pattern is advertised on fleebay in 22" also, although LR never used the 22" size. There are a lot of copy alloys in this style, not just genuine LR ones.
next ones available in both 8" (RR) and 9.5" (RRS) width:
And the ones I'm waiting for:
and of course, Overfinch 22"

Not sure if I am right on this but I think the D3 can only take a total of tire and wheel of 31.5 inches diameter before it rubs so if you use this link to see what tire will fit what wheel http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

Hi !
to the oposite of others, i'm not interrested in 19" and higher, to the oposite, i would be very interrested in fitting some 16" wheels (there is much more choice for Mud tyres), then dis any of you tried to fit this kind of wheel ?

Didn't a member in the US fit 16" steel wheels using a set of spacers to clear the brakes? One of the guys connected with the rocksliders I think? You cannot begin to comprehend the immensity of the I do not give.
