Hi,
I am a new member who has a 2009 Freelander XS and I'm looking at buying a D3 to be able to tow a horse trailer.
Just wanted to say a big "hello"...

Hi to all, just joined this forum today. I have on order a Discovery 4 HSE SDV6 which i will collect in June. Previously owned a Freelander 2 HSE for two and a half years which was fantastic but with grandkids and dogs on the scene now i needed something more practical.

Just thought would say hello.
Have run a 2007 D3 HSE for nearly a year now, love it. One or two niggles fixed under warranty, otherwise no issues with it. Found this site when doing a search to try and sort a tow ball issue, looks like loads of info and useful resources on here, hopefully I can contribute as well as consume! Going in for service and MOT @ Hanleys in Stoke in the coming weeks, fingers crossed
Cheers,
Mike

Hi All,
Picked up a D4 yesterday, my first LR. So far very impressed if a little guilty about the cash outlay!
I found this site to a general search for D4 issues, a topic I'm hoping not to add to!
Cheers

we are hoping to tour the scotish islands this summer and are loking for the tent that fits onto the back of a disco 3 so that we can sleep in the landrover and stand up in the tent ?? any information would be helpful

Hi guys,
As I’m new to the site I thought I’d provide a quick intro. I live in Market Harborough and have recently bought a Zermatt Silver 2007 Discovery 3 with 26K miles. I’m very happy with the Landie and have already purchased a few bits and bobs to enhance it. I’ve found this site to be great with regards to the wealth of info it provides which has already been highly useful!
I do have quite a few questions but I’ll drip feed them in if I can’t find the info using the search facility!
Can any of you recommend a good Land Rover dealership / service centre within a reasonable distance of Market Harborough?

Zim,
Welcome
I am from Lutterworth so not too far away
Mine came from Guy Salmon Coventry who I used for any warranty work.
But TFC (10 for Cash) is who I use now and is well recommended

Howdy! New to the site...because we just purchased our LR3. Have really loved my '02 P38...but this D3 is really growing on me quickly.
Thanx for all the info.

Hiya,
Proud owner of a Disco 4 XS in stornoway grey with 20" HSE wheels. I've been running LR's for the last 5 years and have previously owned the Disco 3 and Freelander 2.
I'd like to understand how I can get my day running lights operational on the Disco 4.
Is this something my dealer can upgrade software wise or do I need to physically buy / fit new lights.
Apologies for the naive question or if you've been asked this previously !
Thanks, Tony
