ETunnel says there is NO price differential between tall and normal car...
There is just fewer spaces available so they run out quicker. D3 XS Manual

I have found no price difference as well - what I have noticed is that the over height line often moves faster !

if you have five in the car (like I did) you can get back the £100 extra it costs with freebies in the business portacabin - ISTR racing a fecked off X5 driver down the ramp last year as I nicked in front of him from my special lane - bought him a glare from the officials and a banishment to the upper deck Steve N | 2008 TDV6 SE Auto | Was 2006 TDV6 S Auto | Club Tunisia | Am I Online?

I have always gone in over 1.85 m as I assumed the shark fin antenna would hit. Last weekend saw someone in the normal under 1.85m with a shark fin. Don't know if he made it. Has anyone done it with the antenna on top? THanks d4 HSE

I have been in the under 1.85, in access height. I dont have a shark fin, but I do have a rear access ladder which sticks up a little more I think.
You need to confirm this by looking at a vehicle with both fitted. The top of my ladder was about 2 inches clear of the roof of the carriage. Club 18 - 30 (I wish !!)

Loads of room in the low carriage with sharks fin, in access height. Been in there few times. Prefer the high carriages, saves me taking the CB whip off.

When I came back on the ET I went in the overheight lane and was then driected into the lower part of the double decker car in access height it was fine. Seemed strange at the time though.
cheers Alex
