No, none at all (unless they have been closed locally at the time).
Because we were a group (4 cars + 3 cars) at least 1/2 hour apart, they stopped us to ask us a few questions as they thought we were a commercial tour group, where you need seperate authorisation from the Mayors of the areas you are going through. Hi there nighthawk “Kif ahna”…we are very interested to do this next year, that is why I asking the question because if I do not find another 4X4 to come with me I will go alone and in case of a breakdown I will not be alone on the route.

I'm interested too, but it's looking unlikely that I'll manage to fit it in to 2012 with all the stuff I have already planned! Will put it top of the list for 2013 for now  Dennis
