Dent just above windscreen on Discovery 3

I have just washed the car - done fairly rarely - to notice a series of 3 small dents 10cm from the windscreen edge. Sad The paint is not broken - onlt 2-3 mm deep but visible. I havent a clue how thry got there. But it looks awful. Does anyone know if the dentless repair system will work on this area of the body work.
Many thanks

Hello

I picked up a nasty dent on my Freelander 2, right on the swage line and the dent bloke got it out no problems as long as they can get behind the dent of course but my man was able to work in next to no space so i guess its a little bit of head lining out in your case.

One tip though, I found my matey through searching forums for good reviews, and when he turned up he reckoned that you have to be a bit careful in using these franchise places as the standard of workmanship can vary alot.

Hope this helps
Wes

I can vouch for that. My man gave up teaching potential franchisees because he felt that there was little real talent there to associate his name with. Perhaps we have the same man Wes. (Martin from Twickenham).

Have a look here, http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic68945.html

This was me last year. I did call obe of the dent guys i know, but he wasn't too keen on trying it, as apparantly the front of the roof is double skinned? So ended up with what you see in the photo's.

I think it depends exactly where in the front of the roof the dent is. I was hit by a pheasant just above the windcreen and slightly to one side of centre (the pheasant didn't get off so lightly as the D3).

The dentless repair man went through the interior light cluster and spent nearly an hour teasing it out - he said that it wasn't perfect because there was a bit of double skinned roof which he couldn't get to - but I have to say I can't see any dent remaining. Thumbs Up

I used these guys - http://www.door2doordents.com but they only cover a local area. (No connection - just a customer)
